 Side imaging on a mudboat?
Any of you running it? I'm bout to pull the trigger on si/di for my rig, I am a lil worried about knocking the transducer off tho. Post up some pics of how you mounted your transducers.

I'm not sure what your particular transducer looks like. Most of them will flip up when you hit something. If it does flip up. I would run with it up and put it down when in use.

If you going to spend the money, go ahead and get the new hummingbird with 360* side imaging stick...just announced on Tuesday. http://www.humminbird.com/360Imaging/Looks good for a mud boat the way it is mounted. Check it out, this is going on the wish list...

P.M. Netman, he uses a side imager on his boat and has done alot of research. I'm sure he would be glad to help out.
