 MudBuddy Question
I am in the market of buying a brand new rig. I am between a Gatortail and a Mudbuddy. I really like the Mudbuddy but I am heard horror stories about people blowing their engines. I have heard its bc of all the mods Mudbuddy puts on them. I am leaning towards a Black Death 4500 if I do go Mudbuddy. Honestly if I drop the money on an expensive rig its gotta last me a while. I am just wondering if the mods on Mudbuddy shorten the lifespan of the motors. I do know Brigs cuts their warranties down bc of all the mods. You may have noticed I am blowing up the forums but I dont wanna waste 17k on the wrong boat so please help me out guys!!!

 Re: MudBuddy Question
Have you honestly test driven them yet? That is a very important thing before dropping that kind of cash on a boat. Taking peoples advice is great sometimes but everyone here has their bias to that perticular brand. Try and line up some test drives, even if you have to sit at the boat ramp waiting for a mudboat to pull up and offer him a case of beer to take you on one.

 Re: MudBuddy Question
Test drive is definitely the key. Head down to Port Neches Park on Saturday morning about 10:00 with a 12 pk of beer & I bet you get a chance to run em all.

 Re: MudBuddy Question
I am in the middle of arranging to test drive both. Trust me I am not going to just pull the trigger on this. But hey it never hurts to ask advise, even if you dont take it

 Re: MudBuddy Question
You're on the verge of too small, but it'll work.
