I just purchased a john boat...one of the storage boxes was made into a live well and I intend to remove it so I have more floor space. The question is how do I go about patching the holes in the bottom of the hull used for the circulation pump? Don't know if I want it welded as areas near a weld tend to crack and this is on the bottom. there are 2 holes about the size of a 1/2 dollar each. Do I leave the rubber gromets in the hull and just plug them somehow? If so with what? Best suggestions please. Thanks. Teal |

Are the holes close enough to where you sit at, that you can just put your two feet over the holes? |

Ive used short bolt n fender washer on both sides n silicone so its water tight |
