What are you gonna use the boat for the most. Big open water or tight narrow backwatters. Give us some info. |

Phowler has the 15/40 lite jon and 12,14, 15,16/36 prowler. The prowler is a super stable hull, flat bottom with a good rake for mud, vegitation and getting over a down tree. The jon gives you more room than the prowler sneek with the same charicteristics but you want to stay under 15'. I run a 14' prowler w/18 and couldnt be happier, they did thier homework on that hull. |

Might want to look at one of Paul Dixon's warrior boats. Around 13' long, but 50" wide, and about 200-300#'s. This is not a gheenoe. It has a solid 2 inch floor and can easily slide over stumps without having to worry about denting the bottom of the boat. Not a reservoir boat, but would be a great fit for a Copperhead motor. www.airboatsunlimited.com |

Phowler's got connections down south. I think Paul has a dealer in South Carolina somewhere. Give him a call. He will figure out a way to get the boat to you. |

Not a bad idea but some of the shallows I hunt have a lot of junk and debris That would probably murder a fiberglass hull- This phowler is built like a panzer tank. |

Thanks it's a heck of a boat - fiberglass is a awesome thing and it's tuff as hell My grandfather had a 18 foot fiberglass lake skiff for years- but with phowlers warranty on the hulls - you can't beat it. |

build a boat out of 1/8 aluminum and one out of 1/8 fiberglass. run some stumps and see which one last longer. fiberglass is also heavier. |

Well. Being fiberglass is stronger than aluminum and actually has a higher tensil strength than steel u made no point, and fiberglass isN t heavier, it's retards like u that don't know shit but make post that turns this place to shit |

Stronger in some ways, not in others. You cannot possibly think it's easier to hole an aluminum hull than a fiberglass one. Fiberglass has no give and will not stand up to sharp impacts from underwater obstructions. Aluminum will dent and give and is much less likely to puncture. |
