i had my potna build mine out of 100 gauge, it weighs about 225 or so...i've put dings here and there, but nothing serious. i had a 13hp go devil on it, and got 16.9mph by myself and 15 with m n my potna

Looking at getting the 1542 edge boat and putting a 23 mud motor on it, has anybody seen or used a mud motor on this brand boat? How did it run? I know what your going to say about the light gauge but I don't run stumps so it will not be a problem. |

Edge is a fairly new boat, so I doubt many people have played around with mudmotors on them. But I may be wrong. I know Edge is the new rage for all the green timber guys here in Arkansas. |

When I called they said it could be upgraded to any thickness, but I have ran a .050 ga Jon boat (beet it to hell but it still worked) and now I have a custom 1338 built from .063 with three long stringers and it is holding up fine, for where I run. So the 90 should work also. |
