Has anyone on here used them for a trailer? A boat salesman told me about them. He said they build a great aluminum trailer and there pricing is less than McClain and Diamond City. I'm considering them for my next trailer and looking for some feedback.

This is the one I got built from them like last month or the month before that don't remember but I paid $2400 and my boat is a 18/54 uncle j. I have to say man they build a nice trailer at horizon and they pick the phone up whenever u call stay late if u need to pick it up or drop it off. I really enjoyed doing business with them man I would say go for it. They have an awesome trailer!!!

That was the first flat bottom trailer I had seen done that way. Do you have any issues with the boat sides rubbing the fender wells of the trailer?

Yea I remember that part and thanks for that Coe I know I made myself look like an ass but not gonna lie best time ever at that run for sure lol. And na man I love the trailer I strap the back down so no worries about sliding but even I I don't it doesn't move that bad that u have to worry about it. I can't complain about it man it is built like a tank man they really do a good job the at horizon and I got it done in 2 weeks time was awesome!! Happy customer for sure and would recommend other people go there.

Well that suck cause I just got mine a couple months ago but I like it a lot they did a stand up job on there trailers nothing is done cheap for sure. Well this is not good lol thanks for the news Coe lol

I did order straight from mc clain in houston. They also dropped it off at brothers shop in henderson for no charge, cause its on the way to baton rouge.

They'll be back under a different name lol LONG history with those guys.

I would put the plastic 2x4 caps that McClain offers I bought mine for under $100. This will prevent the bottom of your boat pitting should you run a lot of saltwater. The carpet on the bunk boards tends to hold moisture where the hull sits and can causes pitting down the road.

Champion trailers in Slidell, La makes some nice aluminum custom trailers if that's not to far for you. I've purchased from them before and have not had any issues!

I would never buy a trailer from Horizon or those guys... Long history of shutting down doors, leaving people stranded with no way to warranty... If the business was soooooo successful when it was ON the Island why didn't the former employees buy the business? Why start over with new suppliers & lines of credit?! Seems fishy to me and to a lot of other people that have been burned by the 5 different names they've called that company. Steer clear is my only advice.
