I bought a 2012 ProDrive back a couple weeks ago. I've only put 4 hours on it and today it left me stranded in the river. Went fishing this afternoon. Motor was running fine. Went to several different spots, so I turned it off and it cranked back up several times no problem until the last time. I turned the key, and it turned over for a fraction of a second, and then nothing. Turned the key again and absolutely nothing. I thought ok, it doesn't have a good connection to the battery. Checked it and it was fine, also the power trim was still working fine. What could the problem be? The clutch wasn't engaged, and the kill switch was still on there, so I'm lost. Any help will be very appreciated. Wanna get back out on the water soon. |

Look in the wiring harness between the tiller handle and block and see if you have the inline fuse. Its a 30A. |

But why was the fuse blown? Swampbilly had the same issue with his. The + & - on the key switch are side by side & the ground had somehow worked loose & touching the hot wires. |

One more thing for the tool box, extra fuses. I have only blown 1 in 5 years. I didnt know there was a fuse there either but he did and had a spare so it saved the day. |

Yep, I have a box of extras in the boat now just in case it happens again. Team Camo, I have no idea why it blew. I opened the box up and checked all the wires and everything, and nothing was loose. Took the boat out all day today, and didn't have a problem. |

Remember the motor is grounded. Start messing with wires while the battery is connected and it can cause problems |
