This was passed on to me to spread the word. There is a museum in Lockport, LA called the Center for Traditional Louisiana Boat Building where they are trying to preserve our wooden boat building culture. To help bring attention to their museum, they are hosting a festival on May 12 as described in the attached flyer. They have a similar event here in SC. It's the wooden boat festival held in Georgetown. Pretty cool event |

Same weekend as the Stephensville ride....I am now conflicted. Do I spend time with my buds or do I showoff the only wooden boat with a gator tail?? |
