Let me start by saying I really want to build a sd, i have already built a lt and have some ideas im not so sure about that i want to clear up before diving into a sd build. I see this truck riding down the road the other day with two sd motors in the bed, i roll down the window and ask the guy "where did you get those motors?" he he says " I built them". So i ask him to meet me in a parking lot up the road. When i get beside him he says "these are dixie mud motors, you should check out our website". At this point i realize im not dealing with some ol cat dick like myself trying to do some shade tree welding, but someone trying to make a living. I ask some questions, he gives some vage answers, which i expected, and said he had to go to fed ex to send these motors off. It may not be in most ppl's areas on this site, but it is few and far between to see a mud motor, much less a builder, in Middle Ga, so i thought i would share this.

I would love to go ride in Florida with you fellas, but i dont think my 7hp longtail would keep up! I gotta get me a new rig with some big horsepower so I can come sling some mud with you. Were do you take you boat locallly? I bet that 36 PD is fun as hell in the "Hooch". I have a buddy that lives in Whitesburg. We have caught some big cats out of the river there.

yup, the hooch around whitesburg and just down river at west point. Prob. one of the better fishing lakes in Ga.

sounds like with back surgery you have plenty of time to make a choice and maybe wait for your MB to be released.
