 first mud boat
hey guys, would you think it is a good price and a good first mudboat? Its a 20hp inboard 14x48 fiberglass mud boat, guy says it does about 20-21 mph. The price is $1,500. Let me know if this is a good deal and if it would be a good first mud boat.

 Re: first mud boat
As long as the hull is decent, and it runs good then it's worth it. Just run it make sure there's no bad vibration, look at the shaft as its spinning(@ the prop) u'll see if it's bent. Put it n the water make sure the dampner plate isn't bad. It will bang when going n and out of gear if it is. Pull the dipstick on the motor and look at the oil. Make sure the clutch isn't slipping. If all that is good u should b good to go.
