 motor advice
I have a 17X40 1/8 thick skiff with a 24 longtail trying to post pictures. Got a chance to get a 27 prodrive for a good price. Do you think i would see any substantial load-speed increace or should i save my money and keep looking for a 36.

 Re: motor advice
only of you tell me how it runs with the 24.
Personally, I would wait and save up for a 36. 9 of 10 people end up doing it anyway. Just make sure to build it up to a tall transom before you put a PD on there.

 Re: motor advice
In the boats and reviews forum, there's a list with everyone's boat size their motor, mods and speeds.. That should help.

 motor advice
Wait and get the 36hp for sure... I went from a 20hp long tail to a 23hp SD and now got a 35hp SD.. Should have went big from the start.
