 6.5hp Surface drive question
Hey Everyone, I have been lurking around for a while and decided it was time to get a account! I recently purchased a 6.5hp surface drive and have decided to switch to a larger boat not much longer but heavier. With the motor being brand new I don't really want to purchase a new one I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions or ideas to give the motor a little more power. Thanks in advance!

 Re: 6.5hp Surface drive question
There's not much extra power to be had from a 6.5 hp motor. You better get the lightest little flat boat you can find, hunt by yourself, use Feather Flex foam decoys, carry only a handful of shells, and don't get far from the landing.
