I have been reading many articles about this and some people have horror stories of the procedure and others love it. Just wondering if anyone here has had one or a family member. The doctor told me that the first day after the injection I will have the worse headache I have ever had. Thanks in advance. Travis |

There are horror stories for any medical procudure. If you have a descent pain management MD you should be fine, I would recommend a specialist!!! |

I had three of them before going to a specialist in Houston. He about flipped when he seen I had been given three. He performed a 45min operation on my neck and I felt instant relief when I woke up and walked out with no brace and only off work for 1 week. |

worked with a lady that got them for her rsd. it hurts and that day and the next she was sore. sometimes headaches. but it always worked. she now has an electrical nerve interupter in her back and up her spine to her nerve core. she said it works way better. ya just gotta plug yourself in everyday to charge. |

Yup. Been about 18 months since last one. I have a great doc and it has been really painless so far. Its nice to have a wife that has worked as a surgery nurse for over 20 years. Better than knowing who to use is to know who NOT to use. Almost ready to go back for another. My docs say to put off surgery till it is a must have and I agree. If I can get 12-18 months between shots Im happy. There are different ways to do it. Mine are given from the front instead of the back. My doc says he can be more precise that way since the injury is usually located in front of the spine like mine is. Has worked great for me. I may have to have surgery one day but till then Ill take the shots. No headaches for me. |

I had them in my lower back. My neurologist wanted to delay surgery as long as possible due to my age (22 at the time). Herniated 2 lower discs in my back... He ok'd up to four per year...to keep me off the table. First injection was great felt like I could run a marathon; next two felt like I got kicked in the nuts. But I'm doing better and he kept me out from under the knife |
