I am sure many of you know me by the cancer post I wrote. This post will have very little to do with cancer. I guess the best place to begin is that my wife has been dropping hints about getting back into shooting. she does not care to hunt for her its too cold , so she says. last time she was in my duck boat it had no heat. Well fast forward to the Olympics she saw the lady win the gold shooting skeet. we use to shoot skeet every week. she had a Browning 20ga which I would not give a dollar for everyone in the world. I shot a Beretta 390. Well she has been onto me about this, and I told her she might like Sporting clays better. I then went on a gun search which turned up a 390 silver mallard rather quickly thanks to a friend off of another duck site. I went and looked at the gun ( she knew I was going to look at it) I told her when I got home the gun was beat all to pieces and was not worth what they were asking. I laid the gun away since I did not need it now, and her birthday is coming up. Ohh by the way the gun is in perfect shape it just needs cleaning. the wood is perfect no scratches, and the receiver had a little scratch on it. she has done so much for me, and I want to do something for her that we both can enjoy. we did shoot club shoots, and really enjoyed them back in the 90s. I cant wait to see the expression on her face cause she has no clue as to what it is. I only told her I had a surprise coming for her. |

I had a Silver mallard.Those are great guns.She will love it.I'm pissed that i sold mine. Ya can only have so many 12ga shotguns.But i should have kept it. |

The woman she saw was Kim Rhode and that chick can shoot. Ive seem her shoot and couple of times once when I was at an Olympic pre-trial I was shooting at and another time at the Grand Nationals in Sparta, Illinois all I could say was wow lol. Sent via telegraph |
