Re: Stole my frickin idea!! Well lav's we made more for fording rivers than amphibious landings. since they added the extra up armored kits the props are more for looks now. They sink.

Re: Stole my frickin idea!! That is true, they are not equal to the AAV. I was just thinking along the line of personal & supply carrying while be being land and still fording flooded areas. But with all the up armor......they become sinkers.

Re: Stole my frickin idea!! Although I'm a diehard Marine, the army has completed more amphibious landings than the Marine Corps. But agreed the Marines do them better.

Re: Stole my frickin idea!! I went to the new war museum in N.O.L. And the reason it was put there is to honor the Higgins boat it was made in L.A . They say with out those boats the war might not have been won and it cut the time of the war in half. Verry cool place to visit if you have never been there.
