 GT pulley alignment
Just replaces the old outdrive on the motor and can't seem to get the pullies to line up exactly. Either the top pulley needs to get pushed in closer to the motor or the bottom pulley needs to be mounted closer to the prop. Not sure what would be easier. Have also added shims of different sizes here and there under the motor for alignment with no success. There is a stainless bushing mounted under the taper lock that looks like I could grind down to move the pulley closer to prop. Any ideas would be appretiated. Thanks.
