Rule 1500 or 2000. Same body and style.

We have had some 2000's last for over 10 years on our shrimp boats.

In your aluminum boat all you need is a attwater 1200gph, you can get it at Wally world, i can pull the plug and it'll pump it out as it comes in,i have a 3/4" discharge hose whch is what it comes with., got hung up in a rain storm(down Pour) and i turnd it on and it pumped the whole boat out in no time

I've had mine for 3 years and it hasn't let me down, just my experience with them, my boat builder puts them in all the state's boats he builds.

Put a piece of window screen around the bilge and zip tie it. It keeps all the shit out, and let's the water flow through

Get one with an auto switch. So that when you leave your boat and it starts raining itll just pump it out whenever it gets full.

You can't go wrong with a Rule 2000, I've been thru 5 or 6 of them. The Rule 3500 is a great pump too, had one last for 8 years in a live well. They can make it happen!

Post subject:  Re: bilge pumps???

The only prob I have with an auto pump is that my drain plug tends to get clogged with trash and when it rains my pump drains the battery.

Post subject:  Re: bilge pumps???

Must only be those GD trailers that do that, If your boat buckles from holding water then you need to look into getting a stronger hull. But i 've heard that about those GDSD boats. lol
