Stupid question maybe but this past weekend I changed the oil in the reservoir in the 2008 hdryo trim.

I know it takes automatic transmission oil. I happen to have an unopened quart of Synthetic automatic transmission oil on the shelf and saw no reason not to use it up.

We use synthetic oil in most areas of these motors................any issues in using synthetic trans oil for the trim unit instead of just regular auto trans oil?

Like I said, stupic question probably, but I had to ask.
