Technically my Friday. I'm taking a vacation day to go and get our dockdogs pool and dock setup at Cabela's for the weekend.
BTW, anyone off that wants to come out and help is more than welcomed.

I'm a weekend warrior. I have to be at work from 7-5 M-F. But usually pull 12hr days. Luckily, I'm in a position to take off almost when ever I want. I've been saving vacation days for those cold windy mid-week hunts soon to come. |

After 23 years at the same job and a boss who love to hunt and fish , and a ramp 5 min from the house I can hunt for a few hour every day of the season , if I want. |

Yrs ago when I was offshore a hurricane was coming and we evacuated to Brownsville I think it was. The place we went to was really nice and had a club and restaurant in it. Had like 4-5 days til crew change and we ended up and did a crew change there. Tool pusher said no drinking in the bar and as soon as we finished eating the floor hands led the pack into the bar and we took the place over. They made us leave at 12-1am but they kept the drinks coming to the rooms. Got a call a little while later and the head guy on our rig had hit the bottle pretty hard (said he would rarely drink). He made the mistake of trying to go drink for drink with a German roustabout. He had got plastered and baracaded himself in the dj booth  . Took 4-5 of us to get him out and upstairs. He wore sunglasses all the next day. I'll remember that week forever .... Parts of it anyway.

Not bad Take'emgator but getting fogged in for 3 weeks and having 1 off and then its back for another 14 is no fun, I know what you mean man only good thing for me is I'm the captain so I get to drive in..
