What are the two vertical rods just under the tilt handle on a 36 prodrive? On my 2012 the rod that is sticking up slightly rubs on the motor case when I turn it. I tried driving it down a little with a little "f"ing hammer and it didn't move, can I move on to the big "f"ing hammer? |

Idk what they are but the question was asked before and the other prodrive owners advised him to just cut it off the same length as the other rod |

Are you talking about the rods that stop you from tilting too far up? If that's what you are talking about then one is taller. The taller one is rubbing? If that's what your problem is cut the taller one even with other one. |

It is one of the two vertical rods behind the hydraulic trim ram. I don't think either one of these rods are stops for the trim? The trim stops look to be two horizontal bolts? So I can just cut it off? They had to be put there for a reason. Maybe a call to kp is in order. |
