I am picking up my new boat from Gator Tail this Friday and had everything covered until yesterday when checked the mail and found out my new Progressive insurance policy was cancel. They stated they dont cover this type boat. I want to know who do the folks here in Texas (Houston area if possible) use to insure your boat. I need to get this ironed out pretty quick as I am leaving Thursday night. Thanks in advance. |

Try Geico. I have them and no problem. In fact they increased my coverage on a motor re-power two days before Hurricane Isaac. |

Progressive has mine. I don't live in Texas, so I have no idea if that matters. |

I just paid for a one year policy with progressive for mine today. I hope they don't drop mine. I'm not going to be happy. |

Mine has been insured by Progressive for the last two years. It also has flotation but dont know if that really matters. |

Progressive had mine till i sold it. Why are they not covering them anymore? Well I am not 100% sure if it is still not covered I payed for a year last febuary and i didnt cancel it. |

I just renewed a policy with progressive a month ago. so far I havnt heard anything about them dropping me. |

Not sure why they dropped me, the only response in the letter I recv'd was policy canceled due motor/hull type not being covered. Bad part is I got the coverage almost a month ago when I did the financing so I am only getting a refund for 7 days of coverage! Oh well.....Looks like I am going with Nation Wide now from a local office. I have to do something now since I am headed to pick up the new boat this Friday! |
