If you get your surveying license you will have no problem finding a job in Texas. There is a shortage of RPLS in our area for sure, we have been trying to hire one for a few months with no luck.

If one more fuking snowflake hits me in the head I'll be moving to warmer pastures...lol I am going to get PA and Ohio Licenses and then visit Texas next year and see what its all about for a couple weeks. Surveyors are in a huge demand all across the USA because the tests are so fricken hard.

I'm sure Texas exam isnt easy but here in PA we have stormwater on our exam and minor engineering...so I dont see how it could get much harder than that. What a nightmere

I'm sick of this winter myself. However I am more sick of people buying several hundred dollars worth of food and using their food stamp card to do so. Then getting into a their new Yukon. I am also sick of busting the same people at meth labs each week. I'm also sick of people getting free health care from the state for their entire family and them bragging their husband has a good job however he is getting paid in cash by his employer so they don't lose their benefit.

That is why I resigned before I got stuck in that line of work. People tell me it was a waste to go spend the money and time to go through the academy, but I would have always wondered if I never did it. I was brought in 3 times within 3 nights because my arrest numbers were down. They told me they would have to let me go if I did not bring them up and then stated that I just needed to start stopping everyone on the street riding a bicycle after 11 pm and find a reason to arrest them, even if they were not doing something wrong. After that statement and me being a libertarian, I could not do the job anymore. I realize there are a lot of good cops but that right there put a bad taste in my mouth about law enforcement. Good cops are going to need a lot of support to make sure they are doing the right thing and not what they are just told to do. That is a tough job, Good luck and stay safe!

I will tell you something else I'm sick of...people sitting at a gas pump texting and not pumping gas. They set there and look up like they are about to get out and do something then they go back to texting. Couple weeks ago me and this fat lady went at it over me walking up and telling her to get a move on. She got crappy and I got crappier. I had been on the river for about eight hours and it was cold and windy. I think she realized I was ready to take it to the next level. Today it was a family of five.

Burns me up when drivers get fuel and go inside without pulling up when they are done pumping.

I hate when you gasoline drivers only use the one pump with desiel. Mean while there is 8 other pump just for gas.

Ya I never understood why there is usually just one diesel pump. Seems like coons especially are attracted to the green handles.

I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering about the one diesel pump. There is a gas station in Ky that is set up where I can fill my diesel and my boat at the same time. Almost every day there is one car at the diesel pump with some ****** on their cell phone texting and no other car on the parking lot. If the fuel was not so much cheaper there I would be elsewhere but when you drop 6-8 hundred dollars a week on fuel every dime counts.

...oh and then they only get 3 dollars in gas.
