 Seat Bases
Did a search but did not find a current thread, anyone know where I can buy the free standing metal seat bases, not the tubular legs.. Aluminum I assume??
I saw some at SETX last year but don't recall where they came from.
Thx

 Re: Seat Bases
Gatortail used to sell them, but it looks like they switched to the spider bases. I'll be donating a set to the drawing at the caddo ride if you want to buy some tickets. Might win a set!
Otherwise, most of the boat builders on this site should be able to get you hooked up.

 Re: Seat Bases
If you have access to a welder, I can get you some specs. They're pretty easy to make.

Uncle-J says free for me, but if I show them off and advertise he will sell for $80.

 Re: Seat Bases
What did you think about the height, 13"?? I like my slightly taller Dove bucket, it is like 16". Don't feel like I am doing a squat the whole time..

 Re: Seat Bases
With the base mounted to the bottom of the seat and the depth of the seat itself, you probably sit around 16-17 in the air. I'm 6'1" and im comfortable in it. Do not feel like I'm squating and not so high that its tippy either.
