You do know that those "factory warranted upgrades" are shitty and only warranted for six months, right? I'm not saying anything about the frame, because that is yet to be seen. If it proves to be good, I would either buy a frame to put my block on or buy one with a stock motor and have it modded by others. You'll end up with a much more dependable motor, which will likely produce more power. Do this, buy a MudBuddy and have somebody reputable mod a motor. Go back to each of them in six months and tell them that you're having problems. See who is more helpful...

The whole motor, from tiller to prop is unproven. The engine may be but not in total combination with the new design it is not, is it? From what I can tell it is new to the market.

I am new to mudmotors and not have owned a boat in over 15 years. But this is a design that is like no other correct? Gears vs belt right? Even the reverse is a bit different than GT and of course Pro drive. Am i right on this?

Now, why would I have to get in touch with MB for warranty work or even out of warranty, do you not bring it back to the dealer for that? I do not bring my truck to the company, I bring it to the dealer. In rare cases, would you have to call the company. But are MB dealers not reputable?

Looks like a lot of people being nit picky on this motor. I guess that means that Gator Tail, Pro Drive and Go Devils are better. So let me ask this comedy question----what is the best of the three.
