 polling platforms
I wana see some of yalls polling platform setups and how y'all have them mounted. And are you able to turn the motor to full lock without the tiller hitting it. After seeing a couple in person at caddo I'm considering on one with a couple tower speakers.

 Re: polling platforms
If it is more noisy I did not really notice it. I am sure he could. That is what he does. It might be tough without the boat tho. If you are serious I can see what he says.

 Re: polling platforms
Not to derail the thread but has anyone ever pulled a tube with one of these boats hooked up high to a polling platform to keep the line out of the water?
Thanks Phil

 Re: polling platforms
I like that nannyslayer! And I would want it angled back. I think it looks better that way.

 Re: polling platforms
I had a fellow buy me a ProDrive one for mine to barter a couple of bow fishing trips. The main reaon why I got it was to put the generator up there out of the floor. It simply through bolted to the corner braces with hydroturf on the bottom of the angle that met the boat.
I can tell you, I wont ever own another tiller without one after having one. Aside from it's practical uses, it is perfect to lean on while standing and driving, saved my ass from falling out of the back one time. Good place to set a beer. I ran wires through the tubing and put side lights and a rear light on it. Had a seat base in it, going to rides, I'd climb my ass up there and could see everybody. Helps protect the motor when going through timber, a tad taller than the motor more low hanging limbs but not bad at all. If you custom built it, I suggest as low as possible with the motor trimmed all the way up... Just way more positives than negatives. I'm all for saying get one!

 Re: polling platforms
At 54" wide is the boat stable enough to actually poll the boat around from , I would think even with a flat bottom it would be a little tipsy.

 Re: polling platforms
Mine is super stable. I am not gonna lie. I am a big clumsy oaf. Mine holds me like a champ. Plenty stable.
