 Your thoughts
Hello everyone found the forum and want to get some feedback before I make any moves.
Thinking about buying a gatortrax rogue and putting a 35 hp mud buddy long tail motor on it.
What do y'all think. I have a small budget and am just getting into this.

 Re: Your thoughts
That's a lot of motor for a skinny rogue. I would get a 16-44 hd or bigger for a 35. There's a rogue with a 25 gtr for sale in the classifieds.

If you wanna have an awesome time and maybe stay in a room where children were conceived on one side and someone got stabbed over an 8-ball on the other come on down I got a can of raid.

 Re: Your thoughts
It'll do fine but I would only run it of it's got 18" sides. I personally know a guy who runs a HD5000 on a 1538HD Rogue. Quick is an understatement.

 Re: Your thoughts
Thats a lot of weight on a little boat......it may be fast empty with a driver, but I bet it dosent carry a load very well.....

 Re: Your thoughts
Idk about the BD4500 but the HD5000 runs 33-34 solo and right at 30 with 3 people and odd and end stuff.

 Re: Your thoughts
I just ordered a rogue earlier this week. 16ft, tall sides, tall transom, no hunt deck. Putting my 27hp mud buddy LT on it.
