Motorheads, I'm considering a gator tail 17/54 with that hunt/drop deck transom but i'm a little concerned about the weight (maybe 500lbs). Who has one and how does it perform? thx cyp |

A friend of mine has one and it performs really well. He has a modded GTR on it. It runs around 40mph. |

I have a 1754 cc with drop deck and rear fish deck added .I have the battery under my back deck also.2 batteries , troll motor, 7 ft rod / gun box me 240# I bump 30 in the shallows 28 deep. Add a 2 people 27 shallow 26 deep . I love the drop deck cause u can really hit reverse hard without filling boat with mud and water. |

The trolling motor is a 12 volt 55 lb. I like it alot the dam thing pulls the shit out of the boat. As for as a camo job on your boat i really dont know you would have to call and see. T thnaks for the compliment! Ricky built the handle for me. The control box is now gonna be standard on the new ones. I seen some with them on the other day but before long they will all have them. T the whale tail is somthing i'm trying for them. Its not for hole shot are anything, when in the mud it helps with lift and keeps the mud flying to very little. Also helps trough water under the boat and not in the boat LOL.. As for as grass its the  . . As for as the total rig i love it bad thing is my wife i think likes it more than me LOL. My poor dog has to stay home all the time

Does the whale tail cause a lot of drag in reverse, pile'n up grass and such? If not want one, Kyle try'd to talk me in to the hunt deck last year when I ordered my boat but did not want to loose the room. Should have listened, tired of fill'n the back of the boat up when reverse'n HARD. |

What is Hoyt's reason behind the larger oil cooler??? Stock cooler on a modded motor lets the oil run to hot? |
