I'm sure it's on here somewhere but, I've been so busy with work that I haven't had a chance to post in a while. Anyway, I remember reading a few months ago that mud buddy was supposed to come out with some gear driven lower unit that's no longer on the Mud Buddy site. Can you guys please fill me in on what happened with them? I know a few members on here ended up putting deposits on them. Sorry if I'm a little out of it. I still got my rig though and I duck hunted as hard as ever. Eddie |

Mud buddy was coming out with the sport V then the sport H. This will be the first year production run for the sport V. They have had some difficulty with the castings and tiller. Sometime in the near future they are coming out with the sport H motor. I like that model better. The only problem is that they are not proven. I'm sure they will figure it out some day. Or....they'll get all the issues worked out and sell a metric shit ton of them. Only time will tell. My 2005 hyper will be getting old in a few more years, and I'm interested to see which way this goes. |

I am pleased with my 2008 hyper sport & it's getting it done for now. When it starts to give me trouble I will be looking. I will get the motor that best fits my needs. ..regardless of what is cool. Who knows, I may buy a gdsd.  Gotcha!
