Got my brand new gtr35 yesterday got it home put 2 hours on it and the back end blew out of the plastic squeeze lever. If this thing is that weak I already want to replace it.. Have read about bps and what not and seen someone has a stainless lever... What is everyone doing?

The ss bps lever has to be bored out to fit the GTR handle. But any machine shop can do that. I had mine break at about 60 hrs or so. But mine stays outside so that might have something to with it!

Thought about ordering one and putting a dremel tool to it.. I don't know yet, would like whoever makes that stainless lever to chime In

If your stock lever broke that fast, either the cable was too tight, or the Allen head set screw was too tight. When adjusted properly, they last a long time.

Guess I'll just wait for my new plastic one to come in from GT. Just don't want to have to ever worry about this again

I like the old aluminum BPS levers better than the new SS ones.

The bps lever is a more comfortable in my opinion. I took the dermal to mine and made hole bigger.

Post subject:  Re: Gtr35 throttle probs

And I recommend not use the bps throttle cable cause its to long and and the hook up in the back is way smaller !! And all u have to do to mod the gt cable is file a little lead off !!
