 Bungee Corded Tiller While Underway
I saw this video where the owner is using bungee cords while underway. What is the reasoning other than to make the boat go straight if the hand is taken off?
Go all the way to the end to see it quickly.

Can't see vid....if to keep it straight he needs to bend his trim tab.

Maybe he saw that the new sports models were falling off and he wanted to try and keep his model on the boat.

No telling why he's got it on there, probably like diddy said, to keep it straight while in gear at idle speeds. I've started using a small bungee on my throttle when I make long runs, just wrap it at WOT and let it eat, it's a lot more comfortable on the tiller hand

Re: Bungee Corded Tiller While Underway
I use them on mine to keep the motor straight while trolling with the trolling motor. Hit something while trolling and the motor goes back straight without having to go back to back of the boat to straighten it. Other than that, I don't even notice they are on it.
