 Question about prop
When i first purchased my 35 sport mb, the prop had some play to it where you could move it back and forth. Is this common? Also now it does not do this anymore. Should the prop have some play in it or none at all?

 Re: Question about prop
Back and forth as in sliding on the shaft?
If so the prop nut needs to be tightened. Shouldn't be any play in the prop.

 Re: Question about prop
Its not sliding back and forth (north to south) on the shaft but a slight rock laterally (east to west) if this helps

 Re: Question about prop
My mb did that after I filed the shaft to put the Hopkins on it. Only did it with the big blade but it didn't hurt anything on mine.
It's probably in a bind now. I would just leave it if there is no play in it now.
