Wrong forum. Try mudfest.

I ran one for a year or so. For a 29hp it was good.
Not as much torque as the big block vanguard but did pretty good on top end (comparing to similar size motors).

As small engines go in general, Kawasaki makes a good motor.
I think the biggest concern is the extra electrical that can corrode & the fuel pumps were know for problems. I never had to replace, just soaked it in carb cleaner. If u had to replace i'd just get an off brand at napa.

Very limited on mods.

Charlieboy on here runs one on an old alweld 18' and it runs good. If i remember correctly, he did have to replace the fuel pump when he got it. Lots of electrical connections to pop loose and leave you wondering why she won't start back up though after jumping into a pothole

I had a 29 kawasaki longtail and yes they have a lot of electrical connections and it isnt hard to pop one lose on the water. I thought it was a great motor but it did give me several problems because of thr electrical connections..and the fuel pump acted up occasionally

friend had one on a longtail and I had to rescue several times. I would stay away for a marine application.
