I am going to look at a 2010 23hp mini hd mud buddy and i just wana know what to look for never looked at a surface drive any help would be use full thanks

google search works alot better type in what your looking for and put mudmotortalk.com right after it. in my opionion there decent little motors, but last year on opening morning a guy that was in our group snapped a crank on his motor, thats a briggs issue though. from what i read on here their customer service isnt worth a crap. where are you from and what kind of area do your mainly run and what size boat are you putting it on?

It's a little small for a 16-48 but should run. Be careful how much and were ya put the weight in the boat. Should run good with a lite load.

What's the price tag on that one you're looking at?

I've got a 25 GTR with 9 hours used as a demo motor that I'm trying to sale that will be good on that size boat.

Do you hunt out side of Galveston around Texas point, murphys or mcfadins, pace track, CFO, whites ranch?

Thats where I hunt too. I hunt CFO with a budy of mine when I get the invite. lol. Man we used to have a lease over on Whites Ranch just outside of Winnie and it was some of the best huntin I ever done. Where at around Galveston do you hunt. I've always wondered if it was legal to run a MM in the marsh by the bridge comin in to Galveston on 45. Looks like a good area to have fun.

Yeah that sucks if they stay closed. They have a few places I hunt that aint too bad If they stay shut down.
