What boat and load? The minis r very strong on the right setups. I just sold 3 27"s on various boats. |

I'm running one on a 1748 .125... Runs good with 1 or 2 man load at 25 mph. Put a third man in it or load it down with gear and it drops off pretty bad. 3 men with with a generator and lights or won't hardley hold 15. Good motor in my opinion would run better on a smaller boat. |

Im running one on a 1642 with hunt deck. .125 thick and I can bump 26 with 2 guys and gear in deep water. True dat!! |

Had 4 people on there the other night and got on plane fairly easy for that load with no gear and were doing probably around 15-17 mph True dat!! |

I knew a guy that had one that the belt housing cracked on it. But that was probably luck of the draw. Never really heard that it was a problem with these motors. |

I like that they are light. I was considering getting one over a go devil because I heard they are better in thick grass and Lillie's. |

I've driven one and wasn't overly impressed, it was prolly the boat but all it would do is cavitate |

I have the mini 23 on a 1644 gatortrax, with me and lots of gear 21 mph. Me my daughter 11 and dog and gear 18 to 19 mph. Me 165 and a friend over 200 lbs 16 to 17 mph , way down hill over that. |

I had a 27 kohler mini with heads & exhaust and it ran real well. would do 27 solo on my 1744 gator trax. |
