Well I got to touch and see a 4500 Black Death sport v today!!

may not wanna tighten the strap over the handle too much! :lol: :lol:

not sure the purpose of all the straps going to the back of the skeg and the transom saver... the travel lock should prevent downward motion, all they need to do is stop it from bouncing back up.. should be easily done with a properly made/mounted transom saver only. or trim it down on the lock pin and throw one strap around it to do the same thing

Travel Lock does not work on these motors. It is useless to have on there. I have already bent 2 transom savers with this motor trying to keep weight / presure off of the transom.

Thankfully NO, my handle did not ever break off. It was always loose and wobbly though. I also really never ran it hard over the mud. 2nd time out I got stuck in the mud. Good timing on my part only had to wait about 20 min before tide had boat floating and I was able to reach the channel to get going again.
