 Well I'm a Dad!Well title says it all! I became a father yesterday at 8:08pm. 7lbs 13oz 20.5" beautiful baby girl! The greatest feeling in the world!

Speaking from experience...them girls are great to raise up to pre-teen and early teen years, you'll lose your hair through the rest of the teen years, then you will be rewarded when they have kids of their own and realize what a great job you did of parenting them! Re: Well I'm a Dad! My wife and I adopted our little girl a couple years ago we are celebrating her 3rd birthday tomorrow. Treasure every moment it flies by once they come around. Never take for granted what you have in a child.

Re: Well I'm a Dad! A child does change everything. Is it worth it to me yes. I was able to give my daughter a life she would have never had if my wife and I hadn't stepped in. Her birth mother is a drug addict and birth sperm doner (not even worth being called a father) is rotting in jail now. It is something that was the most difficult and joyous time in my life. The ability to do right by an innocent human if given a chance is rewarding.
That being said, I understand how life would be more self fulfilling by not having children. They make it difficult to do lots of things. My wife and I didn't have children for 7 years of our marriage. Not by choice. However, we traveled all we wanted did whatever we wanted and played HARD. It was fun. Would I go back given the choice? No. I love my daughter completely. If you don't have children by choice then you may want to not have them and contribute to your nieces and nephews life. If it is not by choice. Probably both! I was 44 before I had my first so there is hope. I also have a nephews and nieces I love more than oxygen, but that love is pale by comparison to your own. That's something I could never understand before I had them.
