When I go to engage my prop while hung up, my motor stalls out, and you gotta baby that thing just right to get out. Any tips for this sorta' thing? I got a PD27 on a 1648. Thanks!

Clean your carb, and maybe bump your idle up some.

Hung up in marsh like bottoms, mainly mud with grass roots and branches of old trees sometimes, but mainly mud lol. I understand it is harder on the engine to engage the prop while it has resistance on it, but this is what it was designed for right?

Usually once I get mine in gear it's good to go and won't kill out. Listen to cb!
