Hello all. Mud buddy 35 got a problem. Boat ran fine for like a ten minute run. Got to the boat ramp and when I left off the throttle at the ramp it stalled and a bit of fire came out of the exhaust. Re cranked ton of black smoke stumbling and missing. Loaded it up let it sit overnight and the fuel must have evaporated. Cranked up ran perfect for a about twnety seconds then it black smokes and starts missing again. Stuck float? |

Sounds like it. Call MB, they'll sell you a brand new stock carb for next to nothing. Old one off, new one on, and your back in business. |

Are they that cheap? Seems like I could just clean it and make the float unstuck. Or is there something special with them? |

You can clean it.....put a new float needle in it..change the gaskets...whatever it needs. It's just damn easier to put a brand new one on to save time. Then you can jack with fixing the old one without your boat being out of commission. |

Lol...even more reason to swap it out. Good luck whatever way you go. |
