 Just purchased 25 gatortail I am very impressed w/ this motor, this is my first mud motor of any kind.I'm sure I have a lot to learn on driving it but that will come in time.

Re: Just purchased 25 gatortail Got it on a 1448 weldcraft loaded w/ 2 adults 2 kids and all our hunting gear today we were running 23.4 gps, 26.2 by myself with my hunting gear

Re: Just purchased 25 gatortail anyone know if the reverse lever is supposed to be hard to squeeze ? 2 hands to get the clip to lock in.

Re: Just purchased 25 gatortail I am enjoying mine as well. Sure beats hunting out of a canoe. That's some good speeds. I bet with an empty boat you can hit 28-29. Best I can get with me and an empty boat is 26.3, but mine is on a 1646 Gator-tail boat.
