 Just ran new boat
I just went run my new Gatortail 18/54 cc. It ran 27.3 deep water with 3 batteries, full tank of gas, trolling motor and myself (260lbs). It would turn around 4100 rpms. Is this about what I should expect? I wish I had bought one of these a long time ago, love it!!

Sounds spot on, enjoy your new boat.

 Re: Just ran new boat
Pretty good speeds IMO for a stock motor. How do you like the cc? Never thought about having one just used to tiller motors I guess.

 Re: Just ran new boat
I was loaded down today with an 1860 2 guys and a dog and ran average around 26 with a light chop. Stage 1. I'd say you got pretty good speeds stock. See what it does with a load

 Re: Just ran new boat
I wasn't sure after I had ordered it, but I really like the cc. I like how the controls are set up. It's also nice to get out of the wind a little bit.

 Re: Just ran new boat
That's what my 18x54 GTail CC rig gets with one person. Add blind, another person, heavy cooler, hunting gear, 3dozen dekes, etc and it drops to 24-25.

 Re: Just ran new boat
Close up pics of the steering and console would be nice also. Good solid speeds there.

 Re: Just ran new boat
I run a heavy 2048 custom rig with a GTR and that's about what mine ran when it was new.
