I ran my boat Monday. With a heavy 1 man hunting load in deep water, I ran a constant 28.5. I had myself, pop up blind, about 10 gallons of fuel, shell bucket, shotgun, and 4 dozen decoys. Water was about 12 to 14 feet deep with a light chop. Boat ran good, but it was still porpusing. Some of ya'll know that I've done so far to fight this porpusing issue, and I'm getting really close. I think if I mess with the trim tabs on the motor I'll get it to calm down. Not sure if I'll ever be able to run just myself and fuel in this boat, but I'm not giving up yet!! |

Nor really sure about the whole trim tab thing. I'm gonna try playing around with the tabs on the motor some. If that don't work, I guess I'll be looking for some help with adding a trim tab to the boat. |

BB, what does your schedule look like for next Sunday, Oct. 4th? Maybe i can bring it down there then. Work on the fuel tank and get it running right. Then maybe you can show me around some of your ridin spots. And share a few cold adult beverages. |

BB, I don't wanna come down there and bother you when you are working nights, plus it looks like I'll be on call that day. Can't get that far from the house. Are you working all week? I'm working nights all weekend. I'm off monday and tuesday. Are either of those days better for you? |

I’m getting 28 out of my stock GTR on a 16x44 Southfork turning 3750 RPMs. What can I do to get the RPMs or MPH up without a mod just yet? |

Hell, I have a 11 gal aluminum tank, 2 batteries and a dual bank battery charger under the front deck. Still hops at around 27 or so when I'm in it by myself. |

Valves won't float until about 4400 on a stock engine. Ran mine at 4200 for 3 years before I modded it. |

What does it sound like when the valves start to float? With my Mikuni I have almost hit 4300 and haven't heard anything funny. |
