Thinking I want a 1854 with stock 35 GTR. Got a lot of builders who buy my stuff so thinking of going custom build as I would like to reciprocate. Or maybe should buy GTB, what say you? Looking for a hunt/drop deck with a little storage back and seat for stick steering on small CC/grab bar, trolling motor mount, otherwise open floor plan. Want to go strong but light. I don't run mud flat and may find a stump once in a blue moon. Lake marshes and Everglades. Have to cross some open water, choppy not much. And I want it to go 45mph... just kidding!!! I could use some prices if you boat builders want to PM me or better yet email address below, Please and thank you! |

I ran that setup for awhile before modding my motor. For the area you are describing an 1854 is a great size. I have a gun box in mine on the port side, wish i had an open floor plan like you are talking about. Stock motor on my boat would run 29mph consistant with just me, and would still plane a 3 man hunt load but was not speed breaker. Lots of great builders, price them all. |
