Have previously owned 35GTR and a 35PD and wanting to upgrade and gain speed. But not sure how many hours people are getting out of the mb hd's. I want to run fast but not sure if the quality and durability is there since they have been modded out. Any suggestions? Also grt and pd are like driving a regular outboard is this true with a MB |

If you wanted, anything that can be done to a Briggs on a mud buddy could be done to a Briggs on a gtr. |

I have not driven a pd. but if you think a gtr is like an outboard then you should think the same for a mud buddy. |

If you still have either of those PD or GTR you mentioned, you can turn them both into a "7000" and not have to get a whole new motor (and keep reverse). |

Like others have said, you can mod either of those the same as the 7000, but with better parts and still have reverse. Plus, you'll probably save some coin. |

The reverse on GT and Prodrive won't last with a 7000. In fact Bubba at GT is against mods of any kind... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - |

Dude where in the fuck do you think the man in Utah got the idea to build hopped up motors for his s/d's? From a hopped up motor on...you guessed it...a pro drive. ![]() The OG bad ass motors built were on PDs and GTs. And those motors would anally rape a POS 7000. There have been more 40+ mph pro drives and GTRs than there have been MB's. And the big motors hold up just like they would on a MB frame. |

I really don't give a fuck about what motor is best. But there must be some truth to the g.t cluch catching on fire or did they solve this problem? I would think this has somthing to do with more H.P? I really would like some honest talk about the different brands of motors and the pros and cons of each one. No one around here really has the guts to talk bad about anyone other than mudbuddy. |

How many hours you put on that reverse dFou? Just wondering, all the ones ive had my hands on end up mushy mushy not solid like my gen 2. I was talking about the case gasket more than the case cover. |

I don't have alotta time on it but so far it's doin good. I've always like the first gen caliper the best and it looks like using it with the gen 3 master cylinder is a good combination Sent from my iPhone using |

When guys like mayhem come here I often wonder if it's somebody who actually knows something and is just using a different name to screw around or if it really is a some more uninformed guy who bought into the MB sales pitch and now has it all figured out Sent from my iPhone using |
