Great looking rig, what size boat is that? I ordered a new 17x54 a couple of weeks ago. Give a review with speeds after some tiller time. I am very curious what kind of speeds people are seeing now with the recent prop work to the 3 blade. Congrats!

We haven't seen reports of the Gen III with the "new" 3 blade prop yet... Old prop has been 26-28' ish. I would expect faster with the 2 blade...haven't seen any reports of those, either.

guy had one at our camp this weekend said it was brand new with couple hours on it, the stage 1 GTR with same load was on the trailer and pulling out of launch before he showed up to the dock. and this is on a 15 minute ride, def no rocketship. He did say it has alot more bottom end than his old one.

Subscribed.

If the latest prop does 33 stock on an 1848, I'll be placing my order! I need evidence first though.

My new 18x48 tiller gen 3 does 24 empty or loaded. no real shallow water speeds yet. This is open water.

Gotcha, STT. I was hoping y'all might have a time table or some expected performance based on what y'all have seen so far, but I realize that is a tall request. My boat is pretty damn big, so with the numbers I've seen so far, I wouldn't expect much speed with the current prop. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress though, as I really enjoyed the Gen III's I ran this season. I basically parked my boat for the rest of the season once I got used to running those.

ever thought about running a counter rotation evinrude prop for shits and giggles? for say a 40? Not sure if it would do any good but might be worth a shot

Figured if someone had one it's worth a shot for some deep water numbers
