I have an aftermarket exhaust and have not had any issues with my plastic cover melting. Mine works fine.

OwenDickeson I made one out of stainless and can take it off just fine. My plastic melted to shit with my muffler. The one in the front cracked aswell.

I guess when mudbuddy stole there design, they saw the flaw in plastic, made theirs out of aluminum, and still can remove it to get to the belt and clutch, they used removable bolts   what a concept :!: :!:

Just get a GDSD. It has galvanized aluminum. Kinda hard to crack or melt that. You lose reverse but what the hell you doing going backward anyways.
