Could someone tell me how to remove the reverse unit from the engine. This is a Gator-Tail unit.Thanks |

Pull the reverse cover, start the reverse draining, take the caliper off and hang it up with a bungee, take the big bolt in the middle of the planetary off and pull the planetary out, pull the shaft extension off of the PTO shaft, take the 6 Allen head screws out of the inside of the ring gear that bolts to the pulley. Voiala. Reverse is off. |

Just be careful with the allen head screws. Them mofos are in there good, make sure you have the correct allen head size. |
