About to buy a 1548
I'm trying to decide what size motor I want to get.
Leaning towards a mud motor. Open to a LT or SD

wanted to see if anyone runs a Crawdad, if so what hp/ brand and what performance your getting.
I hunt 2-3 guns light gear and a fat dog

Thanks

That boat is gonna be tight with that load. Keep in mind that those crawdad boats are .080" aluminum unless you special order it with .100".

Coupe has one. , I've run it , it's stout if you go thicker hull. , depends on your needs and areas hunting in ( stumps ). . As far as a longtail , check out backwater . Also remember ribbed bottom vs smooth , we've put gatorglide on coupes and it slides of stumps and logs easier , but with a ribbed bottom if you catch something and ride up on you can't slide off sideways as easy. .
