Post Gator Glide slideing in turns?
I know i've read before that the gatorglide didnt effect turning in deep water, but how about in shallow water? My boat already slides like a mofo in shallow situations(1ft or less)....is gatorglide going to make it 10 times worse?

Mine would slide a bit in deep water, in shallow water it was plain scary... But mine is a completely square chine, that slid a good bit bare aluminum.

After a few outings you learn to anticipate the slide and correct and it's not a big deal.

I need to edit some old footage from my first outing with GG. I bounced off or slid into just about everything.

I haven't noticed a bit of difference in deep water. With all the rain we've been getting, I havent had the chance to run in shalow water yet.

they talk about helping slide over hard things like logs and stumps but how about floating or reed bank style weeds and pure mud. is there really a difference here.

Yes it slides on turns if you hit vegetation. Like ice. Lots of guys running it just have to get used to it.

Yes but there are controlled slides, as stated above. You just have to get use to it. : http://youtu.be/yMAWQZziARY

I can't see a bottom coating affecting performance in deep water especially handling on a slow mud boat, but that's just me...
