 New MAC Exhaust
Think I'm Mac preformance exhaust first coustmer and it starred off with perty good coustmer service I sold my mm exhaust. They told me they would have one for me by Friday . We'll some stuff came up and they couldn't make it by Friday afternoon we'll I told them I needed it to go to the camp Saturday and they worked late until it was done so I could use my boat Saturday picked it up at 7 Saturday morning bolted it on and I was off to the camp i like it it has a deeper tone to it and it got some rumble to it as we'll and best part is that it don't back fire at all unlike the Marsh mellow ima try and get a video of me passing by one day this week but I got some pics

 Re: New MAC Exhaust
Benelli08 is the first guy to have a MAC with out baffles from what I'm hearing. It's different from a MM from the flange of the exhaust it comes up at a certain degree with slip fits, but dammit that thing looks good!

 Re: New MAC Exhaust
First of all if u were having ur marsh mellow back firing u had exhaust leaks or ur motor was running to lean and the first thing I done with my marsh mellows was put those stainless t bolt clamps on them maybe that's why mine hasn't had any problems I think after that one has enough hours on it the joint at the header pipes will begin to suk air just like the rest

 Re: New MAC Exhaust
Ima Bout to take it off I was testing it I thought my transom was to low but it don't seem to be making a difference I need to get a new prop then ima try it like that and then ima drop it back down and compare I been messing with so much stuff lately it was at 20 I was told should have been closer to the 21 mark I fixed one of my major problems a vacum cap was busted and so I gota start all over again with ruling things out. And I been trying different props just trying to figure out where it runs best at

 Re: New MAC Exhaust
Exhaust notoriously leak. Every exhaust from stock to mm to instagator has formed a leak and backfired..... vibration is a bitch on exhausts.... it is what it is......

Can't imagine ever buying one of them for anything near that price. Hope it holds up for those that buy them.

 Re: New MAC Exhaust
If you make an exhaust that is to rigid it will be prone to break faster. Just because it's thicker material doesn't necessarily mean it will last longer, you need some give and flex especially with these surface drives. Having an exhaust to stiff could also break the heads at the exhaust ports. It's a fine line, again, time will tell. Ideally you want something light and strong. A titanium exhaust would be the real solution to the mm exhaust issues. It has all the physical properties to work in this application.
