I have a 1450 express boat with a 27hp go devil surface drive. Bought it brand new and just isn't performing the way I thought it would. It will go 23 mph with 2 people which I guess is ok but ive been stuck twice in place where the mud was pretty soft. Not sure if its the boat or what. Thinking about putting float pods on the back. What is yalls opinion? Ive also heard it will perform better with a mud buddy 2 blade prop. |

Pods suck. Your boat is too short and it is not allowing you to trim to the proper spot. |

Check your transom height and make sure you have a matching motor height. Just cause the mud is soft dont mean you wont get stuck. I've been in mud that you sink to your nuts in but is thick enough the prop wont bite. |

yea measured it before I ordered the motor I had a longtail before and it seemed like I didn't get stuck as much but maybe its just me. I just recently put the gas tank in the back I did have it up front and it seem to be bull dozing so Im going to see if that helps |
